Look at my new camera! It uses film and everything! I got a really good deal from a friend of mine who’d had said camera sitting in her attic for ages, so I’m now the proud owner of a Nikon F-401 plus two lenses and an external flash. I’ve had a bit of a go taking some photos just to test out the various settings, but I can’t wait to go out and about with it!

do you have access to a darkroom? a friend is taking a photography class, using a film camera & is using the college darkroom to process her film… just wondering?
I don't – at the moment I think I'm just going to play around with it and have the prints developed (or nowadays processing places will scan negatives straight onto a CD for you) but maybe if I get really into it I might look into doing my own developing! When I was at school doing my Art A-level we had a go at developing our own photos and it was great fun.
